The 7-Seater Honda Mobilio – Trendy Looks and Solid Performance


The Honda Mobilio is the first 7-seater MPV in India offered by Honda Motors. It locks horns against the likes of Toyota Innova, Renault Lodgy and Maruti Ertiga. 

The car has a trendy exterior with amazing features like robust turn indicators, powerful halogen headlamps and a curvy front headlight cluster. Its design is inspired by that of the Honda Amaze. Engine and Performance

The car comes in petrol as well as diesel trims. The diesel versions are fitted with a 1.5-litre i-DTEC engine and can produce a peak power of 98.6 bhp at 3600 rpm and a maximum torque of 200 Nm at 1750 rpm. The engine has a 1498 cc displacement capacity. The petrol trims are equipped with a 1.5-litre petrol i-VTEC petrol engine that can generate a maximum 145 Nm torque output at 4600 rpm and a peak 118 bhp @ power 6600 rpm. The engine has a displacement capacity of 1497 cc.


The diesel trims of the car have a minimum of 20 kmpl mileage in the city traffic and 24.3 kmpl on the highways. Its petrol trims have a maximum mileage of 14.3 kmpl on the city roads and a peak 17.8 kmpl mileage on the highways.

Safety Features

The vehicle has drum brakes on its rear wheels and disc brakes on its front ones. It has a McPherson Strut system front suspension and a torsion beam type rear suspension. Its diesel trims and the top end petrol trims come with ABS and EBD. There are various other essential safety aspects like key less entry, central locking system, child safety lock, 3-point ELR seat belts, advanced engine immobilizer and side impact protection. Its top end trims come with driver's seat belt reminder, dual front SRS airbags, auto door lock with speed, security alarm, dual horn and front fog lamps.
